Internal Control Supervisor
About this role
The role is for an Internal Control Supervisor based in Ogun, employed by CWAY Foods and Beverages Nigeria. The job focuses on setting up and monitoring internal control systems, policies and SOPs across the business. What you would do
- Implement and monitor internal control systems, policies and SOPs.
- Conduct stock audits, process audits and compliance checks.
- Monitor inventory variances, wastages, damages and adjustments.
- Identify operational risks and control gaps; recommend corrective actions.
- Review transactions and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
- Ensure adherence to approved procedures and segregation of duties.
- Investigate irregularities, losses and control breaches; escalate significant findings.
- Track the implementation and closure of audit recommendations.
- Prepare internal control, audit and compliance reports.
What they are asking for
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, Risk or Compliance.
- Mandatory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, audit procedures and compliance monitoring.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- ICAN/ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
