Internal Control Officer (Benue)

About this role

The Internal Control Officer will help maintain effective internal controls, monitor compliance, identify control gaps and operational risks, review activities and documentation, and ensure policies are followed. The role is for individuals in Benue, with a willingness to relocate if required.

What you would do

• Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and internal controls
• Conduct routine operational checks and reviews
• Identify control weaknesses and areas of operational risk
• Review transactions and supporting documentation for compliance
• Prepare internal control reports and follow up on exceptions and corrective actions
• Support investigations and work with departments to strengthen controls and processes
