Internal Control Officer

About this role

An internal control officer is needed to oversee daily control activities, support audits, maintain the internal control framework and SOPs, and identify financial and operational risks across the business in Sagamu, Ogun. The role targets candidates with substantial experience in internal control or audit and strong analytical and documentation skills.

What you would do

• Supervise daily verification and reconciliation of stock (RM, PM, FG).
• Develop, update and maintain the internal control framework across all units.
• Develop and revise company policies and SOPs.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify weaknesses in financial and operational processes.
• Test daily processes to ensure controls are effective.
• Support internal and external audit activities and report significant control breaches or discrepancies to management.

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Internal Control, Audit or similar role.
• Experience in risk assessment, process improvement and internal controls.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, documentation, policy-writing and communication skills.
• High integrity with accuracy and attention to detail.
