A four-star hotel in Abuja is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to conduct audits across departments, assess internal controls and risk management, and produce audit reports with recommendations. The role is for candidates with substantial internal audit or related experience who can work full-time in Abuja.

What you would do

• Conduct financial, operational and compliance audits across hotel departments and operations
• Assess internal controls, policies and procedures for adequacy and effectiveness
• Support management in strengthening risk management, governance and control processes
• Audit revenue, cash collections, expenditure, procurement, inventory, payroll and other key activities
• Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, budgets and regulations
• Prepare audit reports with recommendations and maintain audit documentation and follow up on corrective actions

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in internal audit, financial control, risk management or related field
• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related discipline
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software
• High integrity, confidentiality, independence and attention to detail
• Previous internal audit experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is desirable
