Marketsquare is recruiting Internal Auditors in Lagos to conduct financial and operational audits, assess internal controls, and ensure policy and regulatory compliance. What you would do

• Conduct continuous risk assessments and develop work plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Review internal controls, policies, and procedures for effectiveness.
• Determine and monitor compliance across all departments.
• Monitor inventory flow, assist with stock counts, and verify inventory valuation.
• Coordinate loss prevention strategies and advise on shrinkage reduction.
• Draft and present detailed audit reports with findings and analysis.
• Identify and recommend revisions to current practices and procedures.
• Agree on actionable recommendations with staff and support implementation.
• Verify goods in high-risk areas and collaborate with management on solutions.
• Provide support during external audits and vouch vendor invoices as needed.

• B.Sc. or HND in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
• NYSC discharged, exemption, or exclusion letter.
• ICAN certification is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to draft clear and actionable audit reports.
• Experience with inventory monitoring and stock counts is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
