What you would do

• Reconcile cash, bank, POS and other payment records
• Identify irregularities, errors, waste, fraud risks and financial discrepancies
• Monitor inventory, stock movements, purchases and consumption for discrepancies
• Maintain audit documentation and confidentiality of financial information
• Provide recommendations to improve internal controls and operational efficiency
• Conduct regular audits of financial records, transactions and operational activities and prepare audit reports

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field
• Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or relevant certification (advantage)
• 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, accounting or financial control
• Experience in hotel or hospitality industry and familiarity with hotel accounting/POS systems (advantage)
• Good attention to detail, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, Excel and accounting software
