Bradfield Consulting is seeking a diligent Internal Auditor to join a leading school in Lagos. The role involves conducting financial and operational audits across several school departments, safeguarding resources, ensuring policy compliance, and promoting accountability.
What you would do
- Conduct financial and operational audits across designated school departments.
- Review internal controls to safeguard resources, inventory, assets, and information.
- Verify financial transactions, records, budgets, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Perform physical verification and reconciliation of cash, inventory, and assets against records.
- Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, budgets, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare audit reports with findings, risks, implications, root causes, and recommendations.
What they are asking for
- BSc in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in Internal Audit, Audit, Accounting, or Risk & Compliance.
- Age not more than 35 years.
- ICAN/ACCA/ACA certification or membership is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/audit software.
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, financial reporting, and audit procedures.
