What you would do

• Develop and execute annual internal audit plans based on business risks

• Identify irregularities, control deficiencies, and potential fraud
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
• Follow up on audit recommendations and ensure corrective actions
• Evaluate compliance with policies, procedures, accounting standards, and regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and provide risk management recommendations
• Review processes for efficiency and cost control and maintain working papers

• Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with internal audit focus
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and risk management
• Experience in developing and implementing audit plans and control frameworks
• Strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• High integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant audit software
