Internal Audit Specialist

What you would do

• Plan, execute and lead operational, financial and compliance audits.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
• Identify control weaknesses and propose practical improvements.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management.
• Monitor progress on audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to the annual audit plan.
• Provide advisory support on internal controls and governance.
• Perform special investigations and ad hoc reviews as required.
• Mentor junior audit staff where applicable.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in internal or external audit or risk management.
• Professional certification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or CISA is preferred.
• Strong understanding of auditing standards, internal control frameworks and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing and presentation skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with audit management software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
