Internal Audit Senior

About this role

An Internal Audit Senior is sought to join M-Kopa's Legal group and lead end-to-end internal audits across five markets as the function scales. The role reports to the Head of Internal Audit & Risk and requires independent operation, travel, and presenting findings to process owners and management.

What you would do

• Lead audits from planning through fieldwork, reporting and follow-up in line with IIA standards.
• Dig past symptoms to identify root causes, assess risk and write actionable recommendations.
• Present findings to process owners and management and defend conclusions when needed.
• Contribute to the annual risk-based audit plan.
• Mentor junior auditors as the function matures.
• Travel across markets to conduct audits and operate independently across cultures.

What they are asking for

• Degree in business, IT or Business Information Systems.
• Certification such as CIA, CISA or ACCA/CPA.
• Extensive progressive audit experience including time at a Big Four or equivalent.
• Proven track record leading audits independently across business processes and technology engagements.
• Willingness to travel across markets as required.
