What you would do

• Verify financial transactions, vouchers and accounting records for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare audit working papers and draft reports
• Examine internal controls and identify risk areas or leakages
• Assist in routine internal audits, financial reviews and operational assessments
• Follow up on the implementation of previous audit recommendations
• Evaluate compliance with healthcare sector guidelines, statutory tax laws and internal policies

• Minimum 2 years of experience in audit, accounting or financial operations within the health sector
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or related fields
• High level of personal integrity and confidentiality

• Proficiency in accounting packages and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and audit methodologies
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and objective thinking
