Internal Audit Officer

Internal Audit Officer role based in Port Harcourt, Rivers. It is for candidates with relevant audit, risk or compliance experience and accounting or finance qualifications.

What you would do

• Conduct internal audits and assess internal controls
• Review processes for compliance with policies and standards
• identify risks and propose improvements
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
• Assist in developing risk management and control frameworks
• Support investigations into discrepancies or irregularities

• BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• Relevant experience in internal audit, risk, compliance or related function
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures and risk management
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills
• High integrity and attention to detail
• ICAN, ACCA, ACA or CIA qualification/membership is an added advantage
