Internal Audit Manager

About this role

Capitalfield Investment Group Limited is recruiting for an Internal Audit Manager in Lagos. The role involves leading and carrying out risk-based internal audit engagements across the group in alignment with the annual audit plan, and providing independent assurance to management and the Board Audit Committee on governance, risk management and internal control effectiveness.

What you would do

• Plan and conduct internal audit engagements
• Execute audits in line with the Annual Audit Plan
• Prepare audit reports and follow up on findings
• Manage fraud risks within audits
• Ensure quality assurance and methodological rigour
• Engage stakeholders and lead the audit team
• Provide people leadership and team development
• Drive continuous improvement in internal controls and processes

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIA) preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in internal control or related roles
• At least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
• Experience in investment, financial services or fintech operations preferred
