What you would do

• Assist in planning and conducting internal audits and documenting audit evidence.
• Prepare audit reports.
• Review financial transactions, payments, receipts and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Examine project expenditures against approved budgets.
• Review procurement records, purchase orders, supplier invoices, and subcontractor payments.
• Participate in physical verification of construction materials, equipment, inventory and fixed assets.
• Identify control weaknesses, investigate discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and HSE standards.
• Maintain accurate audit documentation and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting or finance.
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is essential.
• ICAN or ACCA qualification in progress or part-qualified status is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of auditing, internal controls, accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong analytical, numerical and report-writing skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, good communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
