Inside Sales Associate (Remote)
About this role
The role is for an Inside Sales Associate who will work remotely from Lagos and support Tajami by engaging sign-ups and leads via telephone and WhatsApp. The person will demonstrate the product, manage follow-ups, and maintain sales records to convert leads into paying Tajami merchants. It is a full-time, remote position reporting to a Tajami supervisor and requires coordinating with the merchant acquisition and field sales teams. What you would do
- Contact new sign-ups and enquiries promptly via telephone and WhatsApp
- Understand each merchant's business, needs and readiness to use Tajami
- Assess product fit and identify next steps
- Conduct short product demonstrations by video call or chat
- Explain pricing, payments and account access while addressing questions
- Escalate technical or management questions as needed
- Follow up consistently to guide merchants through the conversion process
- Refer discount or special terms requests to the authorised supervisor
- Update the sales tracker/CRM daily with lead history and status
- Coordinate onboarding and handover with relevant teams and maintain a smooth merchant experience
