The role focuses on overseeing ink production, ensuring quality, efficiency and timely delivery, and coordinating with related production teams. The ideal candidate has knowledge of printing inks, colour matching, ink formulation, and production planning within a packaging or manufacturing setting. What you would do
- Oversee daily ink production operations to meet targets.
- Supervise ink formulation, mixing, blending, and colour matching processes.
- Ensure ink quality and compatibility with printing materials and machines.
- Monitor raw materials, inventory levels and ink usage to minimise waste.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet operational needs.
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot ink-related issues.
- Ensure safety in handling and storage of inks, solvents and chemicals.
- Supervise, train and evaluate ink production staff.
- Maintain production records, quality reports and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with printing, quality control, procurement and other production teams.

- HND or BSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant ink production experience, preferably in flexible packaging or manufacturing.

- Experience with solvent-based inks and related printing technologies is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management and quality assurance.
- Experience supervising production teams and achieving production targets.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production documentation.
- Knowledge of chemical handling, workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
