Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited seeks an experienced Indian Chef for a full-time role in Warri, Delta, to prepare authentic Indian meals for staff, expatriates and guests. The successful candidate should deliver nutritious, high-quality dishes while upholding kitchen hygiene and professional standards.
What you would do
- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes including North and South Indian cuisines.
- Plan and prepare daily meals according to menus, dietary requirements and preferences.
- Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented to high-quality standards.
- Prepare Indian breads, curries, rice dishes, vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, snacks, and other traditional dishes.
- Maintain proper food handling, storage and hygiene standards at all times.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate kitchen supply requirements to management.

- Certificate, Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Catering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an Indian Chef, preferably in a corporate, hotel, camp, restaurant, or expatriate catering environment.
- Proven ability to prepare authentic Indian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, and traditional recipes.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen health standards.
- Ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian dishes.
