Zitelle Group is seeking an experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join its team in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. The role involves providing legal advice on business and operational matters, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws for the group.

What you would do

• Provide legal advice on business and operational matters
• Manage contracts and agreements from drafting to negotiation
• Advise on Nigerian Labour Law and employment-related matters
• Identify and manage potential legal risks
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance to management

What they are asking for

• LL.B degree and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL)
• Minimum of 4 years' relevant professional experience, preferably in-house
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law
• Proven contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience
• Excellent communication, analytical, research, and negotiation skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
