Hydra Operator

What you would do

• Operate hydra cranes and related lifting equipment to move materials and equipment across plant locations.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections of cranes and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out lifting activities in accordance with lifting plans, load charts, procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Assess load weight, lifting points, radius, and ground conditions for safe handling and placement.
• Coordinate with riggers, banksmen, and supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Report equipment defects, abnormal conditions, or safety concerns needing maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with PTW, lifting procedures, traffic rules, PPE, and HSE policies during crane operations.

What they are asking for

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related technical field; OR Trade Test Grade I-III in Mechanical Trades, Heavy Equipment Operation, Plant Maintenance, or related field.
