Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

About this role

Addoz Consulting Limited seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to support its manufacturing clients in Ogun. The role involves partnering with management to align HR strategies with business goals, managing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, and statutory HR requirements. The HRBP will handle employee relations, policy development, compliance with labour laws, and provide HR guidance, reports, and insights for decision-making. The position targets a people-oriented professional who can operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and build effective relationships across management and staff.

What you would do

• Partner with management to align HR strategies with business objectives
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and employee development
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Monitor attendance, leave, discipline, staff welfare and employee relations
• Support performance management, appraisals and development initiatives
• Coordinate payroll and ensure timely salary processing
• Manage Pension, NSITF, ITF, PAYE and other statutory HR requirements
• Support employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives
• Provide HR advice, prepare reports and supply insights for decision-making

What they are asking for

• HND or BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years' relevant HR experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Practical knowledge of HR operations, payroll, Pension, NSITF, ITF and PAYE
• Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, recruitment and HR policies
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work with management and employees at all levels
• Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure
• Manufacturing experience is an added advantage
