Human Resource Officer

About this role

A Human Resources Officer to support recruitment, onboarding, records, attendance, welfare and policy compliance at Ziba Beach Resort in Lagos. The role works with the HR Manager in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

What you would do

• Support recruitment activities, interview scheduling, documentation, onboarding and staff orientation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Monitor staff attendance, shift schedules, punctuality, absenteeism and leave records.
• Address staff enquiries and welfare concerns, escalating sensitive issues to the HR Manager.
• Coordinate staff training sessions and maintain training records.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, grooming standards and HR procedures.

What they are asking for

• HND or BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Understanding of recruitment, employee relations and HR administration.
• Knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
