HSE Officer - Entry
About this role
An entry level HSE Officer role based in Port Harcourt for an engineering, procurement and construction company. The position targets young, proactive safety-conscious candidates to support HSE operations and compliance across facilities and project sites.
What you would do
- Support HSE audits, inspections and compliance checks across equipment, machinery and worksites
- Assist in identifying and correcting potential hazards
- Ensure employees adhere to internal and regulatory safety standards
- Present monthly safety reports and incident findings to management
- Participate in incident investigations and contribute to reports and preventive action plans
- Assist in planning and coordinating HSE training for staff
