About this role
HSE Officers are sought to support a safe working environment at the Sagamu facility, implementing HSE policies, conducting inspections and risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting safety culture. The role is for experienced HSE professionals with relevant certifications and a background in environmental or industrial safety.
What you would do
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety standards.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture within the organisation.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.
- Monitor PPE use and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Conduct HSE training and safety awareness sessions for employees.
What they are asking for
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- 2–5 years of proven experience in an HSE role.
- NEBOSH IGC, ISPON, OSHA or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
- HND or B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
- Experience conducting HSE training is an advantage.
- Practical HSE experience; fresh graduates are not eligible.
