Interrand Homes & Properties Limited, part of Interrand Group, is recruiting for an HR Manager to be based in Abuja. The role is for an experienced HR professional who can manage people strategically, implement HR policies across multiple locations and drive employee performance within a real estate and construction backdrop. The company operates in Abuja, Lagos and Ibadan and seeks someone to lead recruitment, staff development and HR processes. It is a part-time position within the real estate and construction industry. The candidate will support manpower planning, policy development, and workplace relations across branches and project sites.
What you would do
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and employment regulations.
- Monitor attendance, leave, staff welfare, and employee conduct.
- Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare periodic HR reports and provide workforce insights to management.
- Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Implement and enforce company policies across all locations.
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and systems.
- Lead recruitment and selection processes.
- Coordinate staff training, development and capacity-building programmes.
- Manage full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance, discipline, promotions and exits.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience with supervisory experience preferred.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
- Maturity, confidentiality, integrity, professionalism and sound judgement.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management and Nigerian labour practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Previous experience in real estate or construction is highly preferred.
