HR/Admin Manager
About this role
An experienced, hands-on HR Manager is needed to lead daily HR operations in Maitama, Abuja, with emphasis on performance management, employee engagement and talent development. The role involves translating business goals into measurable people objectives and driving accountability across teams.
What you would do
- Design and implement the performance management system, including KPI/KRA targets and coordinating reviews with department heads.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit, maintaining records and ensuring policy compliance while handling employee relations.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, from profiling and sourcing to interviewing and onboarding, and monitor hiring quality.
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including facilities, vendor management and office logistics.
- Identify training needs and coordinate development programmes, tracking the effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and establish feedback channels to resolve workplace concerns and promote accountability.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on HR experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, in a fast-paced or performance-driven organisation.
- Strong experience in performance management, KPI/KRA development and employee evaluation; experience managing performance issues and PIPs.
- Knowledge of recruitment, HR operations and documentation; proficient with Google Workspace and HR productivity tools.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Understanding of Nigerian employment practices and workplace regulations; professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM or equivalent is an advantage.
