Hotel General Supervisor

The role oversees daily operations across all hotel departments in a Lagos-based hospitality consultancy’s client hotels, ensuring quality service, staff adherence to policies, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. It acts as the link between the Hotel Manager and departmental teams to ensure smooth functioning and implementation of management directives. What you would do

• Supervise daily activities of all hotel departments.
• Ensure front office, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, kitchen, laundry, maintenance and security run smoothly.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and operational areas.
• Report operational challenges to the Hotel Manager.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, conduct, and performance.
• Address minor misconduct and escalate serious issues to management.
• Ensure proper shift handovers and adequate staffing.
• Attend to guest complaints and ensure timely resolutions.
• Conduct regular room, public area, and facility inspections for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Prepare daily operational reports and document incidents and complaints.
