About this role

A Hotel Business Development Executive (Franchise Expansion) is sought to lead Nigeria-wide hotel franchise growth from Lagos. The role focuses on identifying properties and investors, promoting franchise partnerships, and managing the full cycle of negotiations, evaluations and signing to hit franchise opening targets.

What you would do

• Research the Nigerian market to identify potential hotel properties, independent hotels, idle commercial buildings, serviced apartments and renovated projects.
• Build and maintain a local resource database of investors and property owners for ongoing project reserves.
• Conduct site due diligence, including ownership, legal qualifications, safety and facilities, and analyse districts, passenger flow and competitor pricing.
• Prepare investment returns and feasibility analyses and deliver professional project assessment reports.
• Negotiate franchise terms with property owners and investors, manage contract review, signing and deposit arrangements.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, pre-opening and operations teams after signing to support pre-opening progress and openings for franchised hotels.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; age 22–40, with exceptions for highly experienced candidates.
• 1+ year of experience in hotel franchise expansion, CRE investment promotion, store development or BD sales; familiarity with the Nigerian hotel market and resources is preferred.
• Excellent on-site visiting, customer development and negotiation skills; strong goal orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to conduct independent market research, project investment assessment and data analysis; familiar with hotel franchise processes and basic hotel operation logic.
• Fluent in English (oral and written); good communication skills, business acumen and relationship maintenance.
• Self-motivated and reliable; able to explore local markets and support long-term local work; based in Nigeria; prioritises candidates with personal local property or investor resources.
