Marquise Energy Limited is recruiting for a Hot Oil Pump Operator in Nigeria. The role involves managing routine maintenance on pumps, burners and the power unit, rigging up hot-oil equipment, monitoring fluids and equipment, and running hot-oil treatments according to programme. The operator works with the slickline crew on combined wax-cutting and hot-oil jobs and applies required safety controls under permits. The job targets candidates with substantial pump or hot-oil operations experience in oil and gas and relevant certifications. What you would do

• Carry out routine maintenance on pumps, burners and the power unit.
• Rig up the hot-oil truck or skid, lines and pumping tools, and pressure-test connections.
• Monitor fuel, fluids and equipment condition, and record job parameters.
• Coordinate with the slickline crew during combined wax-cutting and hot-oil jobs.
• Run hot-oil treatments to programme, controlling temperature, rate and pressure.
• Apply hot-work, pressure and flammable-fluid controls under the permit to work.

What they are asking for

• SSCE minimum; OND preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in pump or hot-oil operations in oil and gas.
• Skills: pump and burner operation, pressure control, basic mechanical maintenance.
• Certifications: pressure pumping or hot-oil operations training and hazardous materials handling, plus the standard offshore set.
