About this role
A hostel parent is needed to provide pastoral care for students in the hostel, act as a loco-parentis figure, and oversee daily routines, health checks, discipline and personal hygiene for boarders in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The role targets individuals with residential care experience who can lead and supervise students effectively.
What you would do
- Provide pastoral care to students in the hostel
- Act as loco-parentis for boarders under their care
- Oversee morning and night devotions and ensure routines are observed
- Monitor students' health and accompany those with issues to the clinic
- Supervise students' personal hygiene and appearance
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and ensure compliance with school rules
