A Hospital Process Analyst is needed for a growing multi-specialist healthcare group. The role focuses on measuring, analysing and improving clinical and operational workflows across patient journeys to boost efficiency and service quality. The employer operates hospital facilities with centralised corporate functions and aims to expand and enhance service delivery. The position is full-time and based in Abuja. The role involves developing data-driven insights, managing performance metrics, and delivering improvement projects in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical staff.

What you would do

• Support regulatory, accreditation and quality reporting with validated data.
• Map and analyse end-to-end patient journeys across services to identify delays and bottlenecks.
• Produce and present operational dashboards and analytical reports for department heads and executive management.
• Design and run improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA cycles, and demand-capacity analysis.
• Define and maintain operational performance measures such as waiting times, length of stay, bed turnover, occupancy, theatre utilisation, and turnaround times for lab, imaging and pharmacy.
• Monitor performance post-implementation and escalate when gains are not sustained.
• Draft and revise standard operating procedures and workflow documentation from improvement work.
• Facilitate workshops to design, test and embed process changes.
• Conduct time-and-motion, queue and capacity studies and build demand and capacity models.
• Extract, validate and analyse data from hospital information systems and investigate data-quality gaps.

What they are asking for

• First degree in industrial or systems engineering, statistics, data science, health information management, health sciences, operations management, economics or related quantitative field.
• Complete NYSC or valid exemption.
• Experience in process mapping and workflow redesign.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare delivery setting with knowledge of patient flow, clinic scheduling or bed management.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in process analysis, operations improvement, performance management or healthcare analytics.
• Evidence of at least one documented improvement project with measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with operational data sets and producing analytical reports for management decision-making.
