What you would do

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for assigned classes.
• Innovate and vary teaching methods to engage pupils.
• Encourage pupils and show enthusiasm for their subject in class.
• Mark work according to school policies and provide feedback; maintain pupil progress records.
• Demonstrate awareness of Assessment for Learning and personalise learning where appropriate.
• Select and use various learning resources and teaching styles.
• Participate in mutual lesson observations to share best practices.
• Use strategies suitable for all abilities and learning styles, including learners with learning difficulties.
• Research new topic areas and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge.
• Undertake report writing and assign internal grades as required.
