HEMM Technician
About this role
The Dangote Group is recruiting a HEMM Technician to oversee routine maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of heavy earth-moving machinery in Edo. The role aims to keep equipment operating with minimal downtime and requires solid technical knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have a Trade Test or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline and at least five years of relevant experience.
What you would do
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on HEMM equipment.
- Identify and diagnose technical issues and perform repairs or coordinate with supervisor.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members during maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Sectional Engineers.

- Minimum of five years relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of quality control methods and instruments.
- Knowledge of cement production processes and ISO quality management systems.
