Help Desk Officer
About this role
A Help Desk Officer is needed in Lagos to provide first-line IT support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage support tickets and help users access IT systems and services.
What you would do
- Provide Level 1 technical support via phone, email, chat or ticketing system
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and account-access issues
- Install, configure and troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices and peripherals
- Create, update, prioritise and close support tickets
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and common business apps
- Escalate complex issues to higher level teams and maintain IT documentation
What they are asking for
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- CompTIA A+ is advantageous
- CompTIA Network+ or Security+ is a plus
- Microsoft certifications are beneficial
- 1–3 years for Help Desk Analyst or 3–5+ years for Senior Help Desk/Desktop Support
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Outlook support and ticketing systems
