Head Teacher
About this role
A Head Teacher is needed in Lagos to provide strategic and operational leadership for the school's academic activities, staff management, student development, and overall administration. The role targets candidates with strong leadership, teaching, and school management experience to maintain high educational standards and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
What you would do
- Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of academic programmes
- Review lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and student performance
- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers
- Coordinate examinations, assessments and learning programmes
- Promote staff development, supervise performance, and manage timetables
- Monitor student welfare, behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding

- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field with PGDE where applicable
- 5–7 years of teaching experience, including 2–3 years in leadership or administration
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian educational curriculum and policies

- TRCN registration or eligible for registration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
