About this role
The role is for a senior retail banking leader who will design and drive retail banking strategies to grow customers, deposits, loans, payments and transactions. The person will lead development of retail banking products and digital solutions, enhance customer engagement and cross-sell across retail offerings, and identify opportunities to expand the bank’s market presence. What you would do
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire customers and grow deposits, loans, and transactions.
- Drive growth in deposits, disbursements, payments and overall transaction volumes.
- Lead development and adoption of retail banking products and digital solutions.
- Strengthen customer engagement, loyalty, and cross-selling across retail products.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand retail market presence.
- Monitor business performance and manage retail banking risks.
- Ensure regulatory compliance within retail banking.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to achieve targets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies with organisational goals.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- 10 to 12 years of retail banking experience, including at least five years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in customer acquisition, deposit mobilisation and digital banking growth.
- Strong understanding of consumer lending, credit analysis and retail risk management.
- Experience with digital banking platforms and fintech solutions.
- Excellent leadership, sales, strategic planning and relationship management skills.
- MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
