A senior role responsible for directing and coordinating the Resource Mobilisation (RM) team at Murtala Muhammed Foundation. The position focuses on mobilising funds by aligning donor strategies, member interests and country office priorities, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. It involves formulating the foundation’s funding strategy, identifying funding opportunities, and matching them to programme needs, with accountability for fundraising targets and high-quality project proposals. The role requires collaboration with programme teams and other departments to ensure donor and member requirements are met and opportunities are leveraged. The position is based in Abuja and reports to senior management.

What you would do

• Lead the RM team and coordinate resource mobilisation efforts.
• Identify funding opportunities and align them with programme needs.
• Develop and implement the funding strategy for the foundation.
• Collaborate with programme teams to map donor strategies to priorities.
• Maintain trackers and prepare regular RM performance updates for management.
• Review unsuccessful proposals to extract lessons and address weaknesses.
• Support the development of marketing materials and external presentations.
• Work with programme teams to identify funding gaps and develop concept papers for donors.
• Coordinate proposal development, including concept notes, full proposals and budgets.
• Ensure internal review processes produce high-quality, donor and member-compliant proposals.
