What you would do

• Develop and articulate a production strategy for the company.
• Create and manage the plant’s production, capacity and materials requirement plans.
• Oversee implementation of the approved production plan to meet targets.
• Ensure production processes follow established procedures and guidelines.
• Provide leadership and communicate the unit’s objectives to staff.
• Prepare annual production budgets and optimise resources to meet them.
• Coordinate the production team to hit daily targets within quality, time and budget.
• Coordinate planned maintenance shutdowns with Maintenance.
• Oversee cement kiln lining repairs, raw and cement mill operations, and packaging systems.
• Prepare production reports for leadership to aid decision making.
