Head, Performance Analytics and MIS

About this role

A senior role leading performance analytics and management information systems at FirstBank. It targets candidates with extensive MIS and analytics experience in banking or financial services, prepared to oversee dashboards, governance, and reporting for executive leadership.

What you would do

• Develop and deliver early-warning indicators and forward-looking performance analytics.
• Provide validated outputs for Monthly and Quarterly Performance Reviews and executive reporting.
• Automate recurring MIS and scorecard production and manage change controls.
• Improve dashboards, reporting solutions, and monitor report usage.
• Establish governance over MIS definitions, data sources, and reporting methodologies.
• Lead analytical capability development within the team and collaborate with Technology, FP&A, and Business Partners.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance or related field.
• Master’s degree and/or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA) may be an advantage.
• 15+ years in MIS, performance analytics, BI, data analytics or management reporting, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Experience in banking/financial services and in developing dashboards and MIS frameworks.
