Head of Treasury
About this role
The Head of Treasury at Tokiye Integrated Medical Services is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos with regular presence in Port Harcourt. It involves managing liquidity and treasury activities, overseeing bank relationships, and designing treasury policies to mitigate risk and support capital allocation in line with the organisation’s objectives.
What you would do
- Design and implement treasury policies.
- Supervise bank relationships.
- Negotiate financing arrangements.
- Manage hedging strategies to mitigate market and currency risks.
- Monitor liquidity position, funding requirements and cash flow.
- Prepare treasury reports for ALCO and management and provide liquidity insights.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional certification (CFA, ACA, ACCA or CIBN) advantageous.
- MBA, MSc or other relevant postgraduate qualification advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years' relevant professional experience, including at least 8 years in bank treasury, money markets, asset-liability management or related financial services function.
- Experience managing institutional banking relationships and money market placements.
- Experience in a regulated banking or financial services environment with understanding of liquidity controls and treasury governance.
- Proficiency in treasury and financial modelling tools (e.g., Excel, treasury management systems) and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
