A leading manufacturing group in Lagos is seeking an experienced Head of Security to lead and oversee all physical security operations across multiple sites, including plants, warehouses and offices. The role involves developing and implementing enterprise-wide security strategies, policies and procedures to protect people, assets and facilities, and to safeguard the company’s reputation. The Head of Security will act as the primary security advisor to executive leadership and ensure consistent security governance across the business.

What you would do

• Advise executive leadership on security risks, threats and mitigation strategies.
• Direct security operations at manufacturing plants, warehouses, depots and corporate offices.
• Protect company assets, facilities, personnel, inventory and critical infrastructure.
• Develop and implement the Group's physical security strategy aligned with objectives.
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across operations.
• Lead and manage security operations across multiple sites nationwide.
• Establish security policies, procedures, standards and governance frameworks.

What they are asking for

• Experience at a senior management level, preferably GM or AGM level.
• Proven leadership of security operations across multiple locations in a large FMCG or manufacturing organisation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Military Studies, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in physical security management with significant leadership responsibilities.
• Professional security certifications are an advantage.
• Track record of developing and implementing enterprise-wide security strategies.
