Head of Sales in a Fast-growing Food and Beverage Distribution Organisation - Jobtion Consulting
About this role
A senior sales leader role in Lagos for a fast-growing food and beverage distribution company. The Head of Sales will set strategy, lead the sales function across channels and territories, and drive revenue growth, distribution, and profitability alongside the CEO/MD and Commercial Director.
What you would do
- Own sales volume, revenue, distribution and market penetration targets
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team
- Partner with Finance and leadership on revenue, margin, cash flow and profitability
- Build and strengthen distributor, key account and customer relationships
- Drive route-to-market and distribution expansion across priority channels
- Develop and implement the company's sales and commercial growth strategy
What they are asking for
- Strong commercial intelligence and leadership capability
- Experience in FMCG, beverage, wine, spirits, food distribution or related sector
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field
- Experience with distributors, wholesalers, key accounts, modern trade and/or on-trade channels
- Proven track record of growing revenue, market share and distribution
- At least 5 years in a senior sales or commercial leadership role (8–12+ years total experience)
