Head of Sales - Asset Management

Head of Sales for an asset management business in Lagos. This senior role targets expanding the client base, deepening relationships and driving growth in assets under management for a financial services institution, using strong market relationships and a disciplined sales function.

What you would do

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for the asset management business aligned with growth objectives
• Acquire new clients and grow assets under management
• Identify opportunities across institutional investors, corporates, high-net-worth individuals, family offices and other client segments
• Build and manage a strong pipeline from prospecting through to conversion
• Collaborate with investment and product teams to tailor offerings for client needs
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team and establish a structured sales process

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• Significant experience in sales, business development or client coverage within asset management or related financial services
• Proven track record of acquiring and retaining clients and growing assets or revenues
• Strong network across institutional, corporate, HNI, family office or intermediary markets
• Strong understanding of investment products and asset management
• Experience leading and developing a sales or business development team
