Head of Procurement / Supply Chain

About this role

Head of Procurement and Supply Chain role for a leading FMCG company in Lagos. Targets include end-to-end supply chain management, import processes, cost control and sustainability, suitable for a senior procurement professional with regional experience.

What you would do

• Strengthen quality awareness and conduct regular audits and trainings.
• Communicate with internal, external and HQ stakeholders to understand needs and support efficiently.
• Ensure quality standards are implemented in the local organisation.
• Manage Sales & Operations Planning for forecasting and inventory management.
• Monitor operational costs and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with customs brokers and authorities for smooth imports and timely clearance.

What they are asking for

• Master's or university degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 7 years' procurement experience within an international supply chain in a group context.
• Proven project management experience and proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and APO is a strong plus; strong MS Office skills.
• Ability to work with various stakeholders and high energy/drive.
• Specialised qualifications in Logistics/Supply Chain Management are valuable.
