What you would do
- Coordinate market development initiatives with compliance, legal, risk and regulatory teams
- Develop partnerships with investment firms, advisers, and ecosystem participants
- Identify and engage private companies and investors such as PE, VC firms and family offices
- Support product and service design to improve access to private capital
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for NASD's private capital market
- Identify secondary trading and liquidity opportunities for private securities
- Assess issuer readiness for participation in private capital market activities
- Collaborate with Business Development and Market Research on sector opportunities
- Support frameworks and processes for private securities transactions within regulatory requirements
- Track market activity, capital raised and investor participation

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- 10 to 12 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, capital markets or private investment
- Strong understanding of private securities, capital raising, transaction structuring and investor relations
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with private companies and institutional investors
- Strong commercial judgement, financial analysis, negotiation and project management skills
- Postgraduate qualification or professional certification is an advantage
