About this role
The Head of People & Performance at Uncle Stan's Foods leads the company's people strategy to attract, develop, retain and motivate talent and to drive a high‑performance culture in Lagos. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, people operations, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, policy implementation, rewards and culture building.
What you would do
- Lead the development and execution of the people strategy to attract, develop, retain and motivate talent and foster a high-performance culture.
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition, onboarding and workforce planning, including building an employer brand and reducing hiring turnaround time while maintaining quality.
- Oversee HR operations, including employee records, documentation, compliance with labour laws and company policies, and payroll inputs coordination with Finance.
- Design and manage the performance management framework, including KPIs and performance scorecards, conducting reviews and improvement plans, and coaching managers.
- Lead learning and development, identifying training needs, designing annual calendars, coordinating onboarding, developing leadership programmes and measuring ROI.
- Drive employee relations and engagement, resolving grievances, leading engagement initiatives, and supporting policy development and compliance.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the hospitality, retail, FMCG, or Quick Service Restaurant industry is an advantage.
