Head of Operations
About this role
Head of Operations at Aldelia Limited in Lagos oversees the company’s overall operational strategy and performance. What you would do
- Lead operational strategy and performance across the business.
- Oversee logistics, stock movement and distribution activities.
- Lead the Inventory function and manage planning, control, reconciliations and stock accuracy.
- Monitor slow-moving, excess and ageing inventory.
- Ensure operational compliance, controls and risk management.
- Track boutique operational performance and KPIs.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives.
- Manage logistics partners and service providers.
- Lead and develop Operations and Inventory teams.
- Collaborate with Finance, Retail, Procurement, Sales and other functions.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
- 8–12 years’ experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, inventory or retail management.
- Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-location operations.
- Strong inventory, logistics and operational control experience.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with ERP/inventory management systems.
- Luxury retail, fashion, FMCG or premium consumer goods experience is highly desirable.
