Head of Operation (HOO)

About this role

Head of Operation at Feed Avenue Limited, based in Ogun, oversees day-to-day operations including warehousing, logistics, fleet, stock and production as the company scales and moves towards local production. The role leads the operational team, drives delivery reliability and cost control, and reports to the Managing Director with responsibility for end-to-end operational performance.

What you would do

• Own day-to-day operational execution for warehousing, logistics, fleet, stock and production within approved budgets and policies.
• Manage the end-to-end order-to-delivery process from sales order to delivery confirmation and ERP closure.
• Ensure stock control with FIFO/FEFO, cycle counts and audits; maintain batch/lot traceability and compliance.
• Oversee logistics, transport and fleet management including maintenance, routing, capacity planning and carrier network.
• Lead the transition to local production, including planning, SOPs, staffing and production start-up.
• Develop and manage the operations budget and KPIs, including OTIF, lead times, cost per tonne, and inventory metrics.
