Head of Internal Audit
About this role
The role is for a Head of Internal Audit who will lead the company’s internal audit function, assess controls and risks, and ensure compliance across real estate and project activities in Lagos. It targets experienced professionals with managerial background in accounting, finance or related fields.
What you would do
- Identify control weaknesses and propose corrective actions
- Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations
- Develop and implement the annual audit plan
- Conduct financial, operational and project audits
- Review financial transactions, budgets and expenditures
- Prepare audit reports for Management and the Board and monitor closure of audit issues
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- 8–10 years of relevant experience including 3–5 years in a managerial role
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA or CISA
- Experience in real estate, construction or asset-intensive businesses (advantage)
