About this role
The Head of Human Resources role at The Label Store in Lagos leads the HR function across the organisation, providing strategic direction and partnering with executives to implement people strategies that support business growth. The position requires extensive HR experience, including strategic and operational HR, across multiple branches.
What you would do
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the HR function across the organisation
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, procedures and initiatives
- Partner with executive management on workforce planning and people-related decisions
- Lead recruitment, onboarding and staff retention across branches
- Implement performance management systems to drive accountability and high performance
- Oversee employee relations, grievances, disciplinary processes and investigations
What they are asking for
- 10 to 12 years of cognate HR experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- BSc/HND in HRM, industrial relations, business administration, psychology or related field
- Professional certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI or CIPD are advantageous
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and statutory requirements
- Proven experience in HR strategy development, policies and procedures
- Experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, succession planning, and organisational development
