Head of Human Resources

About this role

Fort Knox Group seeks an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead the firm’s people strategy and oversee the full employee lifecycle. The role serves as a trusted adviser to senior management and practice group leaders, guiding HR across talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, culture, HR operations and compliance.

What you would do

• Develop and implement the firm-wide HR strategy and advise senior management on people matters
• Lead the HR team and drive employer branding, employee engagement and organisational design
• Manage end-to-end recruitment across legal and business services functions, including senior and specialist hires and onboarding programmes
• Design and oversee performance management, career progression, promotions and retention initiatives
• Lead learning and development, including leadership programmes, professional qualifications and the L&D budget
• Oversee HR operations including policies, compliance, HRIS, data analytics and reporting, as well as visa and mobility administration, employee relations and culture

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, psychology or a related field
• Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or CIPD Level 7 or equivalent
• 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR leadership role
• Experience in a law firm, professional services or partnership environment is strongly preferred
• Proven experience managing the full HR lifecycle independently
• Postgraduate qualification in HR, MBA or equivalent is preferred
